Easter Monday - Tapering Training

After a lovely couple of hours at CJ's drooling over Italian plans, Mr B and I reluctantly sped off to change and drive to Parliament House for speedygeoff's training. It wasn't that we didn't want to go to training, it was just that we were just getting into the research on interesting places to rent and amazing cars to hire at all sorts of costs in all sorts of exotic places! CJ had baked some yummy little chocolate cupcakes and beautiful banana bread. Since she has had her new kitchen her culinary skills have excelled and it's always a treat to visit for her highly impressive afternoon teas with her home baking skills.
Mr B and I arrived a little late to Parliament House but managed to catch the others half way round the warm up loop. We then ran down to the oval where we ran 3 x 1km undulating loops of the fitness course doing push-ups on the way. Then it was just the cool down loop back to the start.

  2. Only 8k! I thought you ran 8.01k! You failed to mention the extra 600 metres!
